INTEGRATING BIM into the Presbyterian Hospital Project

Join us for  a presentation  on using BIM on a major local hospital project.  A project overview will be given by the architects along with a description of the project's state-of-the-art, "evidence-based" design principles.  The contractor will describe the contractual arrangements for transfer of architect's drawings into a BIM model and provisions outlining subcontractors' responsibilities in the BIM process.  The presentation will cover the relationship between the BIM model and specifications, and issues from the field such as how responses were given for RFIs through BIM.  Planned use of the BIM model as a facility management tool for the owner will also be described.

Immediately following, please join us for our March meeting, a tour of the Presbyterian Westside Hospital, beginning at 11:30 am.
